Questions about security of Google Pay
Is Google Pay secure?
Google Pay protects your information and your payment account with several levels of security, thanks to one of the most advanced security infrastructures in the world. When you pay in shop, Google Pay does not give out your real card number in order to keep your information secure.
For most in-store purchases, Google Pay asks you to set a screen lock and unlock the device. If you lose your phone, the screen lock prevents fraud. If you have an Android device, you can also lock your phone and wipe your data remotely using the "Locate my device" feature.
